    Maud Charlotte Mary Victoria Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Princess of the United Kingdom was the daughter of Edward VII Albert Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, King of the United Kingdom and Alexandra Caroline Marie Charlotte Louise Julia von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Princess of Denmark. She was born on 26 November 1869 at Marlborough House, London, England.1 She married Charles Haakon VII von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, King of Norway, son of Frederik VIII von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, King of Denmark and Louise Josephine Eugènie Bernadotte, Princess of Sweden, on 22 July 1896 at Buckingham Palace, St. James's, London, England.1 She died on 20 November 1938 at age 68 at London, England.1

    She gained the title of HRH Princess Maud of the United Kingdom.1 As of 18 November 1905, her married name was Queen Maude of Norway.2
