Edwina Cynthia Annette Ashley. She was born on 14 February 1924 at London, England.1 She married Sir John Ulick Knatchbull, 7th Baron Brabourne of Brabourne, son of Sir Michael Herbert Rudolf Knatchbull, 5th Baron Brabourne of Brabourne and Lady Doreen Geraldine Browne, on 26 October 1946 at Romsey Abbey, Romsey, Hampshire, England.1
As of 26 October 1946, her married name was Knatchbull. She succeeded to the title of 2nd Baroness Romsey on 27 August 1979.1 She succeeded to the title of 2nd Countess Mountbatten of Burma on 27 August 1979.1
