- Amadeo di Savoia-Aoste, Principe di Savoia is the son of Aimoe di Savoia-Aoste, Principe di Savoia and Irene von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Princess of Greece and Denmark.1 He was born on 27 September 1943 at Villa Cisterna, Florence, Italy.1 He married, firstly, Claude Marie Agnes Catherine d'Orléans, Princesse de France, daughter of Henri Robert Ferdinand Marie Louis Philippe d'Orléans, Prince de France and Isabelle Marie de Orléans Bragança e Dobrzensky de Dobrzenicz, Princeza de Orléans e Bragança, on 22 July 1964 at Sintra, Portugal.1 He and Claude Marie Agnes Catherine d'Orléans, Princesse de France were divorced on 26 April 1982 at Port-au-Prince, Haiti.1 He married, secondly, Marquesa Donna Silvia Ottavia Costanza Maria Paterno di Spedalotto, daughter of Don Vincenzo dei Marchesi Regiovanni and Rosanna Bellardo, on 30 March 1987 at Bagheria, Sicily, Italy.1
He gained the title of Principe Amadeo di Savoia. He was baptised with the name of Amadeo Umberto Constantino Giorgio Paolo Maria Fiorenzo di Savoia.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Duca d'Aoste on 29 January 1948.1 His marriage to Claude Marie Agnes Catherine d'Orléans, Princesse de France was annulled on 9 January 1987 at Italy.1
