He was born on 19 December 1911.2 He married Lady Brigid Katherine Rachel Guinness, daughter of Lord Rupert Edward Cecil Lee Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh and Lady Gwendolen Florence Mary Onslow, on 30 July 1945 at Little Hadham, Hertfordshire, England.1 He died on 20 April 1966 at age 54 at Reinhartshausen, Germany, drowned in the Rhine.1,3
