Victoria Patricia Helen Elizabeth Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Princess of Connaught and Strathearn was the daughter of Arthur William Patrick Albert Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn and Luise Margarete Alexandra Viktoria Agnes Prinzessin von Preußen. She was born on 17 March 1886 at Buckingham Palace, St. James's, London, England.1 She married Admiral Hon. Sir Alexander Robert Maule Ramsay, son of George Ramsay, 12th Earl of Dalhousie and Lady Ida Louisa Bennet, on 27 January 1919 at Westminster Palace, Westminster, London, England.2 She was also reported to have been married on 27 February 1919 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England. She died on 12 January 1974 at age 87 at Ribsden Holt, Windlesham, Surrey, England.2

She gained the title of Princess Patricia of Connaught and Strathearn.2 Through her marriage, Victoria Patricia Helen Elizabeth Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Princess of Connaught and Strathearn gained the title of Lady Ramsay on 27 January 1919.2 As of 27 January 1919, her married name was Ramsay.
