Brigadier Andrew Henry Parker-Bowles is the son of Derek Henry Parker-Bowles and Ann de Trafford. He was born on 27 December 1939. He married Camilla Rosemary Shand, daughter of Major Bruce Middleton Hope Shand and Hon. Rosalind Cubitt, in 1973.1 He and Camilla Rosemary Shand were divorced in 1996.1

He gained the rank of Brigadier in the service of the Blues and Royals.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).1

As of 1973, her married name was Parker-Bowles.1
