Ernst-Johann Biron von Curland, Prince Biron von Curland is the son of Karl Peter Franz Andreas Alexander Biron von Curland, Prince Biron von Curland and Herzeleide-Ina-Marie Sophie Charlotte Else Prinzessin von Preußen.1 He was born on 6 August 1940.1 He married Elisabeth Victoria Raimonda Gräfin zu Ysenburg-Büdingen in Philippseich, daughter of Ludwig Joseph Albert Franz Heinrich Dieter Graf zu Ysenburg-Büdingen in Philippseich and Nobile Mariangela Aloisi, on 14 August 1967 at Bayern, Germany, in a civil marriage.1 Ernst-Johann and Elisabeth Victoria Raimonda were remarried in a religious ceremony on 15 August 1967 at München, Bayern.
     He gained the title of HSH Prince Ernst-Johann Biron von Curland. He was baptised with the name of Ernst-Johann Karl Oskar Franz Eitel-Friedrich Peter Burchard Biron von Curland.1
