    Marie Auguste Prinzessin von Anhalt-Dessau was the daughter of Eduard Georg Wilhelm Maximilian Herzog von Anhalt-Dessau and Marie Agnes Luise Charlotte Prinzessin von Sachsen-Altenburg.1 She was born on 10 June 1898 at Schloss Ballenstedt, Germany.1 She married, firstly, Joachim Franz Humbert Prinz von Preußen, son of Friedrich Wilhelm II Viktor Albert von Hohenzollern Kaiser von Deuschland and Auguste Viktoria Prinzessin von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg, on 11 March 1916.1 She married, secondly, Johann Michael Baron von Loën on 27 September 1926 at Schöneburg, Berlin, Germany.2 She and Johann Michael Baron von Loën were divorced on 18 April 1935.2 She died on 22 May 1983 at age 84 at Essen, Nordrhein-Westfahlen, Germany.1

    She gained the title of Prinxessin Marie Auguste von Anhalt-Dessau.3 She was baptised with the name of Marie Auguste Antoinette Friederike Alexandra Hilda Luise von Anhalt-Dessau.1
