    • Sir John Ulick Knatchbull, 7th Baron Brabourne of Brabourne is the son of Sir Michael Herbert Rudolf Knatchbull, 5th Baron Brabourne of Brabourne and Lady Doreen Geraldine Browne.1 He was born on 9 November 1924 at London, England.1 He married Patricia Edwina Victoria Mountbatten, Countess Mountbatten of Burma, daughter of Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma and Hon. Edwina Cynthia Annette Ashley, on 26 October 1946 at Romsey Abbey, Romsey, Hampshire, England.1
           He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1943 and 1946, in North-West Europe, where he was wounded.3 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron Brabourne of Brabourne, Kent [U.K., 1880] on 15 September 1943.2 He succeeded to the title of 16th Baronet Knatchbull, of Mersham Hatch, co.
