     He gained the title of Prince Louis of Battenberg.1 He was baptised with the name of Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas Battenberg.2 Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma also went by the nick-name of Dickie.
